Some men are just so keen to impress a woman that they will literally do anything. Unfortunately, this comes across almost desperate and pushy to the woman and she is immediately turned off.

Though some women can be difficult to impress but they can also be wowed. The way a man talks, acts, walks, and dresses are very important especially if he is trying to make an impression.

Sadly, most men try too hard to make the right moves even if it means acting like someone they are not. It is okay to want to impress a woman but staying true to yourself will help you further. No question about that.

A man does not need to worry about things a woman would like to hear. Women love a man who is confident. Personally, if a man isn’t standing straight, keeps fidgeting and stuttering while trying to “know me better” won’t get much further. It’s just impossible.

Of course, women and men are not perfect. So, it would be ludicrous for a woman to be looking for Mr. Perfect.  If something silly comes out of a man’s mouth while trying to impress a woman, the ideal thing for the man to do is just act almost as if he said nothing wrong. Again, this goes back to confidence. However, that doesn’t mean he should not apologize if he said something that needs an apology.

A woman will not be interested that much either if a man should come across too serious. Sure, he wants to put his best foot forward but it’s even more important to be himself. A man can let his own unique personality shine through while still acting like a true gentleman. It will take him a long way.

So what is the best advice when it comes to trying to impress a woman? The answer is simple: stop trying. If a man does not try to be someone he is not, then a woman will either like you or not like you. If she doesn't, then so be it but chances are she will like what she sees or hears.

When a man approaches a woman, he should be himself and allow the conversation to take a normal direction otherwise the woman will see him as having little or no experience with women, as having no confidence, and as being apprehensive.

It's hard for a woman not to be impressed with a man who is impressed with her. If a man really likes a woman, he doesn’t have to make a big deal about it. In a decent way, just let her know you admire her.
